Meadows is a lifelong resident of London and a renowned journalist who has worked at publications like Time Magazine, The Times, Sunday Times, Variety and SFX. He has published two books on comic artists and illustrators and their studios: Studio Space (2008, Image Comics), Masters Of Comics (2019, Insight Comics) and Tripwire 30 (2022, Heavy Metal). He has interviewed movers and shakers from the worlds of comics, film and TV including Ridley Scott, Guillermo del Toro, Frank Miller, Alan Moore, Mike Mignola and Matt Groening. He is also the editor-in-chief of the UK’s preeminent comics and genre magazine: Tripwire. Sherlock Holmes and The Empire Builders is his full-length comics writing debut.

Bennett was born in southern Ohio. He is a graduate of Shawnee State University in Portsmouth, and The Columbus College of Art & Design in Columbus. Today he serves as a digital media designer at Highlights for Children in Columbus, as well as offering freelance design and illustration work for a wide range of clients. He currently lives in Columbus with his wife Lisa.
